Sonny Kalsi is a member of the GreenOak executive leadership team.
Sonny Kalsi is President and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of SLC Management — Sun Life's institutional investment management business and group of global asset managers that offer a diverse range of traditional and alternative asset classes including public and private fixed income, infrastructure equity, and real estate equity and debt.
Previously, Sonny served as Co-CEO of BGO, the business through which we offer real estate equity and debt strategies. BGO is a global real estate investment management advisor and a globally recognized provider of real estate services.
Sonny co-founded GreenOak Real Estate in 2010 which later merged with Bentall Kennedy in 2019 to create BGO. Before co-founding GreenOak Real Estate, Sonny was the Global Co-Head of Morgan Stanley's Real Estate Investing (MSREI) business and President of the Morgan Stanley Real Estate Funds until 2009. Throughout his career, Sonny has lived and worked in various leadership capacities in six different countries.
Sonny has a Bachelor of Science in Finance from Georgetown University and is a member of their Board of Directors. In 2025, Sonny was recognized by PERE for his leadership and global influence in private equity real estate. He is a board member of several educationally focused organizations including Room to Read, Teaching Matters and the PREA Foundation.
Steve Peacher is a member of the GreenOak executive leadership team.
Steve Peacher is Executive Chair of SLC Management, Sun Life's institutional investment management business. He is also a member of the Sun Life Executive Team, contributing to the strategic direction of Sun Life, and advising on global asset management-related issues.
Steve first joined Sun Life as Chief Investment Officer in 2009, and in 2013, Steve created the blueprint for what has become SLC Management. As President, SLC Management, Steve led the growth of the business both organically and strategically, successfully facilitating the acquisitions of seven asset managers.
Steve has more than three decades of investment management and credit experience in North American and international markets. This includes extensive experience managing teams, portfolios and research across a wide range of asset classes and strategies, with a particular focus on fixed income.
Steve's portfolio of work includes Head of Fixed Income and Liquidity Strategies at Columbia Management and over 15 years at Putnam Investments where he rose to Managing Director and Chief Investment Officer of the Credit Team. Earlier in his career, Steve spent time in the investment banking division at Dean Witter Reynolds (now part of Morgan Stanley).
Steve holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Virginia. He is a CFA charterholder and a member of the Boston CFA society.
Chris Wright is a member of the GreenOak executive leadership team.
Chris is the CEO and President of Crescent Capital. He serves on several committees at Crescent, including the Operating Committee, the Executive Committee, and multiple Investment Committees. Additionally, Chris is a Director of Crescent Private Credit Income Corp. and a member of the SLC Management Executive Team. Prior to joining Crescent in 2001, he worked at General Electric Company in various finance roles after completing the Financial Management Program.
Chris received a BA in Economics from Michigan State University and an MBA from Harvard Business School.
Jack Paris is a member of the GreenOak executive leadership team.
Jack is the Chief Executive of InfraRed and focuses on the development of InfraRed's strategy to drive the evolution and growth of the business by building and strengthening relationships with business partners and investors.
Jack is also responsible for InfraRed's business in the Americas, managing and growing the existing platform, and oversees InfraRed's North American renewables strategy.
Before joining InfraRed, Jack was Co-Head of Citi's Global Power & Renewables investment banking business. While at Citi, Jack advised on over $100 billion of transactions including mergers & acquisitions, business unit divestitures, spin-offs, IPOs, project financings and other structured transactions. Before that, Jack worked at Lehman Brothers in their Power & Utilities Group.
Cliff Corso is a member of the GreenOak executive leadership team.
Cliff serves as the Chief Executive Officer and Chief Investment Officer of AAM. He joined the firm in 2021, bringing a 35-year reputation for strategic leadership and his deep understanding of the financial markets. He is responsible for overseeing asset allocation and investment management across the firm's $12.7 billion* in assets and the day-to-day management of AAM.
Prior to AAM, Cliff was founder, CEO and Chief Investment Officer of Cutwater Asset Management, a fixed income specialist boutique which grew to over $50 billion in assets under management under his tenure. Over his 20 years leading Cutwater, Cliff created several unique investment products and solutions across a spectrum which included investments in corporate, real estate, asset backed, and structured credit across both public and private markets. Cutwater developed a reputation as a leader in alternative lending and structured credit strategies focused on income, diversification and alpha generation. In January 2015, Cliff led the strategic acquisition by BNY Mellon (BNYM) of Cutwater which merged with BNYM's largest affiliate Insight Investment, a global fixed income leader with over $1 trillion in AUM. While at Insight Investment, Cliff held positions as CEO of Insight, North America as well as Executive Chairman and was a member and Chair of various Investment Committees including the Corporate Loan, Real Estate, and Illiquid Credit Committees. Prior to Cutwater, Cliff served as a senior multi-sector fixed income portfolio manager at Alliance Capital Management.
Throughout his career, he has also served as a credit analyst, lender, restructuring specialist and trader. He is sought after for his views on markets regularly by Bloomberg, Barron's, CNBC and Fox Business News. Mr. Corso graduated from Yale University with a degree in economics and earned an MBA from Columbia University. He currently holds Series 3, 7, 24, and 63 licenses from the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA).

John Carrafiell is a member of the GreenOak executive leadership team.
John Carrafiell is the Co-Founder and Co-Chief Executive Officer and a major shareholder of privately held BentallGreenOak ('BGO'), a leading, global investment management and advisory firm with approximately $89 billion in assets under management, 25 offices in 12 countries. John was a Founder of GreenOak Real Estate in 2010 and together with the team built the business organically to $12 billion (USD) of assets under management in 10 countries with over 100 employees prior to its 2019 merger with Bentall Kennedy (owned by Canada headquartered leading financial institution, Sun Life).
John is a 37-year veteran of global Private Equity investing and investment management, M&A, corporate finance, asset-backed securitization, and real estate (32 years based in London and Europe). He became Head of European Real Estate for Morgan Stanley in 1994 (at the age of 29) and rose during a 22-year career to be Co-Head of Global Real Estate (both principal investing with $100 billion of AUM, and Investment Banking) and to serve as a member of the Morgan Stanley Investment Banking Division's six-person Global Operating Committee in 2005.
John is a member of the board and the Compensation Committee of Lineage, Inc., the world's largest temperature-controlled logistics company, where John helped lead the company towards its IPO in July 2024, one of the largest IPOs in the past decade, and the largest-ever real estate IPO. BGO holds a significant minority stake in the company. John currently serves as a member of the Board and Chairman of the Audit Committee of Klepierre, one of Europe's largest REITs. He is Chairman of the board of IREIT by BGO, a $1 billion gross asset value, Logistics and Industrial REIT, launched in July 2023. He is a member of the board of Sandow Lakes Ranch Venture, LLC, formed in 2022, a 32,000-acre (50 square miles) development project outside Austin, Texas, where BGO owns a majority equity stake. John is also a member of the Board of Norway-based Bulk Infrastructure (as a board member from 2020-2022, now as an observer), a leading provider of green data centers and logistics in Europe, where BGO holds an over 60% stake.
From 2011, John advised the New York State Common Retirement Fund and then acted as the Fund's appointed board director and Audit Committee member of Shurgard, Europe's largest self-storage company, from its IPO until February 2019.
John was a member of the board, Chairman of the Audit Committee, and Chairman of the Operating Committee of Canary Wharf, the leading developer and owner of the London office district, where John led the $10 billion (GAV) LBO in the largest-ever real estate transaction of its type at the time.
John is a former Trustee of the Urban Land Institute (ULI) and member of its Finance and Endowment Committee. John is the co-Chairman of the Yale School of Architecture Dean's Council and co-Chairman of the Chelsea & Westminster Hospital Foundation Trust Development Board. John graduated Yale University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Philosophy. John is based in Florida, in BGO's Miami Office.
Julie Wong is a member of the GreenOak executive leadership team.
Julie Wong is the Managing Partner and Chief Client and Product Development Officer at BGO. In this role, she is responsible for BGO's client and product development initiatives at the Firm.
Julie joined GreenOak Real Estate, a predecessor firm to BGO, in 2010 and has overseen the formation and successful closing of over $15 billion of equity commitments for the firm's commingled funds, co-investments, and the firm's other investment opportunities. She has 20 years of experience in the real estate industry as an investor, advisor, and operator.
Previously, Julie was an Executive Director at Morgan Stanley in the real estate investment banking and investing division. Julie began her career in real estate in 1997 with Sunterra Resorts focusing on acquisitions and the development of a club system for the portfolio of over 110 properties worldwide.
Julie graduated with a bachelor's degree from Harvard University and an MBA from Columbia University.
Jonathan Harari is a member of the GreenOak executive leadership team.
Jonathan is a Managing Director at Crescent Capital and Global Head of the Investor Solutions Group. He is also a member of Crescent's Executive Committee and Operating Committee. He oversees the team responsible for client and prospect coverage across the globe, as well as product strategy for the platform. He joined Crescent in 2023 from PIMCO, where he was an Executive Vice President focused on business development across a wide range of clients and prospects, including pensions, endowments, foundations, and family offices. He previously worked at Blackstone as a Vice President with a focus on hedge fund solutions.
Jonathan received a BS in Accounting and Finance from New York University and an MBA from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. He is a CFA charterholder and holds the CAIA designation.
Andrew Yoon is a member of the GreenOak executive leadership team.
Andrew Yoon is Chief Operating Officer at SLC Management responsible for day-to-day operations of the global business. In this role, Andrew leads a team of executives responsible for the firm's human resources, information technology, new products and innovation, M&A and change management activity, PR & communications, marketing, and corporate philanthropy. Andrew is a member of the Firm's management committee and investment committees for various Firm managed funds.
Andrew was a Partner and served as Chief Operating Officer at GreenOak Real Estate, a predecessor firm to BGO, since its inception in 2010. Prior to joining GreenOak, he was a managing director, chief operating officer, and chief financial officer for Morgan Stanley Real Estate Investing in Asia. Andrew was responsible for capital markets and strategic business growth during his tenure in Asia from 2001 through 2010. Prior to Morgan Stanley, Andrew worked as an investment banker in leveraged finance at Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette/Credit Suisse.
Andrew holds a bachelor's degree from the University of California, Los Angeles and an MBA from the University of Pennsylvania's Wharton School.
